Hooray here is HadewijDecember 05 free gadgetsHi guys, I found this website where you can get free gadgets of like 200 pnds or more. You have to sign up for a free dvd movie service (I did it, quite good and entirely free for 2 weeks). Then you have to refer 5 people. This is obviously the difficult bit, because I don’t really want to annoy anyone, but on the other hand, a free Nintendo is quite good, so worth a try. April 23 After Bev's wedding in the Thai country sideHi all,
Had a bit of an adventure this weekend. My friend Beverley was marrying her Thai lover Chewy in Nakhorn Si Tamarat at the family house right in the countryside. You can imagine that that was quite a cultural adventure for us Farangs. I have put some pictures up, so you can have a look at the idea. In the morning there was a Budhist blessing, with all the monks chanting, and afterwards the famaily bless the couple with 'blessed' water as well. All quite interesting. In the evening there was a Thai band and the dancefloor was full with sweating drunkThai men all playing air-guitar. I guess weddings are never that different really.
We stayed at a motel only 5 minutes from the house. It was a bit weird, but I have heard of this before in Suriname. You drive up to your motel room and there are screens so that you can hide the car from view (and the people going into the room). For room service there is a hatch with the staff can put the drinks/condoms in. which then the people in the room can retrieve without being seen. The ideal place to bring your mistress. I have put a couple of pictures up on that also.
Speak to you all soon,
Had January 03 Happy 2007Happy 2007 Everyone!!
I can't believe it, another year has gone past!! The last time I updated the blog was a year ago! Scandalous!
Anyway, we are still going strong in Thailand. Keith has knocked his job on the head here, and is now a man of leisure. He was working for his brother, but they have fallen out (as expected) and now he is investigating the option of building some little bungalows in Kao Sok national park, whick is beautiful. I am still working, but how long that will be before the company goes bust is still to be seen.
We have moved out of the fancy 4-bedroom house with pool into tiny 1-bedroom house with seaview. It is really nice, and we get a lovely breeze. But it only means that no visitors can stay at the house. Sorry about that!
I have posted some pictures of the house and a liitle video clip with new years wishes from when we were on holiday over xmas. Have a look if you fancy it (click the link below).
Best wishes and happiness and love and health to you all!!!
Lots of love,
Had
